ISLAMABAD, (Newsman): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has informed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar that the government will not allow the party to hold a protest in the capital, following a recent ruling by the Islamabad High Court.
In a phone call, Naqvi conveyed that the government is obligated to abide by the court’s decision, which bans any form of procession, sit-in, or rally in Islamabad.
“We must comply with the Islamabad High Court’s directive,” Naqvi said, emphasizing that no protest or sit-in would be permitted in the capital.

The Interior Minister also highlighted the upcoming visit of a high-level delegation from Belarus, led by the country’s president, which will arrive in Islamabad on November 24 and stay until November 27.

Naqvi stated that, in light of this visit, the government cannot allow PTI to stage a protest in the capital.
He urged Barrister Gohar to reconsider and postpone the planned rally. In response, Gohar assured Naqvi that he would consult with party leadership and communicate their final decision.
