ISLAMABAD : August 10,2023: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president , Shahbaz Sharif , has said Nawaz Sharif is coming to Pakistan next month. Shahbaz Sharif made these assertions here on Thursday during his TV talk shows.
Shahbaz Sharif ‘s categorical statement suggesting that Nawaz Sharif is coming to Pakistan indicates PMLN supremo is ready to take any risk to return to Pakistan and lead his party in upcoming general elections . Pakistan is supposed to go for general polls in next 90 days as it’s national assembly has been dissolved .
Nawaz Sharif ‘s return from exile is a mystery for long. His party also remains illusive on the issue of Nawaz’s return to Pakistan . Nawaz Sharif had gone to the United Kingdom (UK) during Imran’s tenure in 2021. Since then PMLN supremo is living in the UK and off and on doing politics from there.
In a related development , PMLN leader and self claimed spokesperson of Nawaz Sharif , Mian Javed Latif, issued a statement to the local media wherein he claimed that an institution is attempting to minus Nawaz from Pakistan’s politics. These two statements are extremely important . Nawaz’s return to Pakistan will be a straight message to the institution which according to Mian Latif Javed, is trying to minus Nawaz Sharif from Pakistan’s politics .
Nawaz Sharif’s return and face cases in the court of law can bring PMLN back in national politics. Shahbaz Sharif’s claim that on his return to Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will neither wear iron basket on his head .nor put a hat on his head for security purpose has a loud and clear message that PMLN supremo is coming to Pakistan after taking all factors into account. He also clarified that Nawaz will face cases to prove himself innocent in the court of law.
