ISLAMABAD: The newly elected office bearers of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Thursday took oath of their office here.
The oath taking was held in annual general meeting of ICCI held here. The newly elected ICCI office bearers included executive members also.
Shakeel Munir took oath as a new elected president of ICCI for 2021-22.
Jamshaid Akhtar Shaikh took oath as senior vice president and Fahim Khan as vice president.
Founder Group chairman, Mian Akram Farid administerated oath from the new office bearers of ICCI. Ejaz Abbasi , a former president ICCI was stage secretary of the occasion. A large number of ICCI members attended the general meeting.
In his maiden address as ICCI president , Shakil Munir vowed to work hard to resolve the issue of trading community of Islamabad. The new president said he was thankful for trust imposed in him by the Founder Group and will use all his energies and abilities to deliver up to the expectations of the leaderahip of Founder Group. He appreciated the efforts made by Sardar Yasir Ilyas , outgoing president , during his tenure for betterment of trading community of Islamabad. He thanked Founder Group chairman, Mian Akram Farid, all former presidents and members of ICCI.
Chairman Founder Group, Mian Akram Farid in his address said the new management of ICCI will perform up to the expectations of the trading community and leave no stone unturned in resolving the issues faced by the business community. He thanked the members to vote for Founder Group again.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas in his address, thanked newly elected body of the chamber and hoped that the new team will do utmost efforts for progress and properity of the country.
