ISLAMABAD: Dec 12,2022: Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , has made it clear that there would be neither talks with Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leadership nor mid term elections in the country .
At a press talk with Finance minister Ishaq Dar, here on Monday prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif , said the coalition partners did not sacrifice their political standing for conducting mid term elections in the country . He said the government was neither in talks with PTI nor its going to accept PTI demand for mid term elections in Pakistan.
*Did PDM put its political future at stake by coming in power in difficult times for accepting PTI demand for early elections in the country? ” Shahbaz Sharif asked from PTI top leadership .
PTI is putting all possible pressures to force Shahbaz government to have fresh elections in the country . PTI chief , Imran Khan, is continuously demanding of the government.to have mid term elections in the country . Imran Khan strongly believes that free and fair elections is only option to pull Pakistan out of current political turmoil.
PTI is giving many factors which were putting Pakistan’s economic situation in muddy waters.
PDM government is not paying any heed to PTI demand and its continuously repelling its demond for early elections.
PTI ‘s Fiaz ul Hasan Chohan on Monday claimed that president,Dr Arif Alvi , was negotiating with Shahbaz Sharif government on behalf of PTI. His claims are not out of context as there are half a dozen meetings between president , Dr Arif Alvi and Finance minister , Ishaq Dar in the last one week. Some well informed sources claims that Dr Arif Alvi and Ishaq Dar, are discussing fresh elections in the country.
Dr Alvi and Ishaq Dar are negotiating on one point agenda of having mid term elections in the country.
Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif”s assertions that there would be neither talks with PTI nor fresh elections in the country have come like a bullet out of the blue for PTI..
