ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Tehreek- e Insaf (PTI) dissident member national assembly , Noor Alam Khan, has been elected as public accounts committee (PAC) chairman.
Noor Alam Khan has succeeded Rana Tanvir Hussain as PAC chairman . Noor Alam Khan is known for his outspoken behaviour . He criticised Pakistan Tehreek- e Insaf (PTI) style of governance when it was in power and none of the party members could speak out or criticise its governance modal .
Noor Alam also openly criticised PTI chief , Imran Khan , for deviating from basic principle of the party of creating a corruption free system and follow merit based policy to address basic issues confronted with Pakistan . Soon Noor Alam Khan’s outspoken attitude became indigestible for Imran Khan and his like -minded party leaders who started to poison the party chief against Noor Alam Khan.
Since Imran Khan loves to take advice from those who are experts in praising and buttering , the PTI chief pushed Noor Alam Khan into a club of those whom he disliked the most. Noor Alam Khan was finally made to pay for his courage and honesty. Soon Noor Alam Khan became a persona non grata for Imran Khan. This mental approach of the PTI chief left Noor Alam Khan with only one option to join the group of PTI dissidents in the national assembly .
Since , Noor Alam Khan is a tall figure and a man having courage to speak out against wrongdoings, he has been elected as PAC chairman . He can deliver in his new elevated position to make PAC a real vibrant body to play a role for cleansing the parliamentary system of Pakistan .
