Normalcy Returns to Islamabad After PTI Protest Operation

ISLAMABAD, November 27, 2024: Life in Islamabad is gradually returning to normal following the completion of a major security operation aimed at dispersing PTI protesters in the capital.

With the operation concluded, daily activities are resuming, and the city is recovering from the unrest caused by the protests.

Business activities are set to resume, while educational institutions are scheduled to reopen tomorrow (Thursday).

However, signs of the protests remain visible across the city, with clothing, shoes, and several abandoned vehicles left behind by the protesters scattered in various locations.

Authorities have reopened roads that had been closed due to the protests, and efforts are underway to remove the containers that had been placed by PTI workers in the Red Zone and other key areas.

The Islamabad administration, under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, is also carrying out a thorough cleaning of the streets to restore the capital to its usual state.
