ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s top comedian, Omar Sharif, died on Saturday in Germany on his way to the United States (US) for treatment.
Omar Sharif was airlifted last week in an air ambulance to take to US where all arrangements were in place for his surgery, but his air ambulance had landed at Frankfurt airport as his doctors had adviced not to complete journey from Pakistan to US in one go.
Omar Sharif was shifted to a hospital in Frankfurt , Germany where he took his his last breath on Saturday. Pakistan’s ambassy in Germany is making necessary arrangements to flew deadbody of Omar Sharif back home.
