Pak media group office bearers meet ambassador Ahmad Farooq in Riyadh

RIYADH (Saudi Arabia): June 14, 2023: A group of office bearers of Pak media group had a meeting with newly appointed ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, here on Wednesday.

Newly appointed Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, discussed various issues confronted with Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia and expressed firm commitment to sort out all the problems of Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia. Mr Ahmad Farooq told Pak media group office bearers that Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia are earning much-needed foreign exchange for Pakistan and play a key role in economic growth of the country. He said the reports of involvement of some Pakistanis in drugs trafficking and other criminal activities are extremely disturbing. He asserted that involvement of any Pakistanis in drug paddling or other criminal activities can create problems for other Pakistanis to come to Saudi Arabia and earn their living. He added that Pakistanis are very hard working people and they are playing very crucial role in progress and property of Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador Ahmad Farooq also advised to Pakistani community to obey the rules and laws of Saudi Arabia and stay away from any illegal and unlawful activity. He said Pakistan’s embassy in Saudi Arabia will use its all channels and resources to address any problems or issues confronted with Pakistani community residing in Saudi Arabia.

Mr Ahmad Farooq added that top leadership of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were working on various plans to expedite economic cooperation between the two Muslim brotherly countries.
Pak media forum chairman , Ilyas Rahim, President Zaka Mohsin, general secretary , Rana Azeem Younis, joint secretary Ajmal Minhas were present during the meeting. Head of chancellery, Mohsin Saifullah and second secretary Aiman were also present during the meeting.
