Pakistan a center of peace and Hope ; Says Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad

Jeddah:Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman, Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, said that Pakistan has emerged as a center of peace and hope, earning greater respect and recognition across the world. He also described overseas Pakistanis as a valuable national asset and urged them to invest more in Pakistan’s economic development and prosperity.

He made these remarks while addressing a reception dinner hosted in Jeddah by prominent businessman and social figure Chaudhry Waheed Ahmed, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Saudi Arabia, in honor of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad and senior PML-N leader Chaudhry Farooq Javed. The event was attended by office-bearers of PML-N Saudi Arabia, distinguished members of the Pakistani community, representatives from various sectors, and well-known businessman Shehzad Dogar.

During his speech, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos demonstrated the country’s capabilities and earned international recognition. He further stated that Pakistan’s constructive role in supporting efforts toward the ceasefire between Iran and the United States was appreciated globally. He credited the cooperation of the Saudi government, the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and the government’s effective foreign policy for enhancing Pakistan’s global standing. He also remarked that Pakistan has been blessed by Allah with the honor of serving and safeguarding the Two Holy Mosques.

Welcoming the guests, host Chaudhry Waheed Ahmed congratulated Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad and Chaudhry Farooq Javed on performing Umrah. He said he shares a long-standing and brotherly relationship with both personalities and is always honored to host them whenever they visit Saudi Arabia. He also paid tribute to their religious, political, and national services.

Meher Abdul Khaliq Lak, General Secretary of the Pakistan Investor Forum, also congratulated the guests on performing Umrah and praised their contributions to the nation and society, expressing his best wishes for their continued success.

Chairman of PML-N Saudi Arabia, Chaudhry Akram Gujjar, thanked Chaudhry Waheed Ahmed for organizing the successful gathering. He highlighted the valuable contributions of overseas Pakistanis, commended Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad’s religious and national services, and welcomed Chaudhry Farooq Javed on his first visit to Jeddah in nearly ten years, appreciating his longstanding services to the party.

Addressing the audience, Chaudhry Farooq Javed praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, saying that PML-N assumed responsibility during challenging times and that Pakistan is gradually moving toward stability and development. He also shared memories from his political journey and thanked the Pakistani community in Jeddah for their affection and support.

Prominent businessman Shehzad Dogar also addressed the gathering, highlighting his business ventures in both Jeddah and Pakistan while appreciating the positive role played by overseas Pakistanis in the country’s economic progress.

The event was also attended by senior PML-N leader Chaudhry Farooq Anjum, Chaudhry Fahad from the Commercial Section of the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah, Noor Muhammad Arain, Chaudhry Arshad, Chaudhry Nawaz Gujjar, Qari Asif, and several other prominent members of the Pakistani community.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, PML-N Jeddah Chairman Mian Rizwan-ul-Haq thanked the host, honored guests, and all participants for making the event a success. Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad then led a special collective prayer for the forgiveness of the late PML-N senior leaders Chaudhry Shehbaz and Rana Furqan, and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, security, stability, progress, and prosperity.
