Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Discuss Future Investment Collaborations

ISLAMABAD: October 28, 2024: Federal Minister for Investment, Privatization, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Ibrahim Al Mubarak video link, to explore current and future investment collaborations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The discussion, prompted by a recent visit from a Saudi delegation to Pakistan, highlighted the positive response from Saudi Minister of Investments, Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, regarding the expansion of bilateral investment opportunities.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed various Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and identified key areas of mutual interest.

They agreed to outline actionable steps for upcoming investment initiatives.

Saudi officials also invited Minister Khan to participate in the Saudi Arabia Expo on November 25-26, reinforcing their commitment to strengthening economic ties.

Minister Khan expressed his commitment to facilitating Saudi investments in Pakistan, stressing the importance of achieving measurable outcomes from the investment agenda.

The virtual meeting also included contributions from Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, as well as senior officials such as the Federal Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of the Privatization Commission, who provided insights to further drive investment collaboration between the two nations.
