Pakistan condemn Houthis ‘Blatant attacks’ on Saudi Arabia

Islamabad says such repressive actions could led to further destalisation in region

Islamabad ; Pakistan on Tuesday said it strongly condemns the blatant attacks carried out against the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last night.

In a statement on X , Prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif , said such blatant actions constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have the potential to further undermine regional peace and stability. 

The statement maintained Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for the Kingdom’s security and stands in complete solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at this critical time.

On its part, the prime minister in his statement noted Pakistan will continue to support all sincere efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability, security, and mutual understanding across the region.

Houthis had launched ballistic missiles attacks on Saudi Arabia on Monday.

Pakistan has signed a defence pact with Saudi Arabia and in this context any attacks on Saudi Arabia could lead to a concern for Islamabad.
