Islamabad : Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , has expressed shock over firing incident near White House Correspondents Association dinner in Washington , DC. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office (PMO) , prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , said he was deeply shocked by the disturbing shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., a short while ago.
The statement said prime minister was relieved to know that President Trump, the First Lady, and other attendees were safe in the shooting incident.
The prime minister said his thoughts and prayers are with him, and he wishes him continued safety and well-being.
The shooting incident occured outside the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington DC where US president, Donald Trump , and his spouse were also present. US Secret Service guards protected president , Donald Trump and his spouse, Melania Trump from the shooting and removed then out from the incident spot.
According to the US media , the shooter ,who was equiped with shotgun and knives, has been arrested and investigated for his firing action.
