Pakistan Investors Forum meets with Saudi ministry of health officials to explore healthcare investment opportunities

Jeddah – In a major step toward strengthening economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Pakistan Investor Forum, under the dynamic leadership of President Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood and Vice President Fazal Mamon, held a high-level and forward-looking meeting today with senior officials from the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, which took place in Jeddah, focused on identifying strategic investment opportunities in the healthcare sector, particularly across Jeddah and the wider Western Region of the Kingdom. Discussions included a range of potential initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, including private healthcare projects, digital health innovations, hospital partnerships, pharmaceutical collaborations, and the role of Pakistani medical professionals in the evolving Saudi healthcare ecosystem.

President Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of mutual trust and long-term partnership between Pakistani investors and Saudi institutions.

> “We believe that the healthcare sector presents a transformative opportunity for both our nations,” he stated. “Under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is rapidly modernizing its healthcare system, and the Pakistani business community is ready to contribute with its talent, experience, and capital.”

Vice President Fazal Mamon highlighted the diverse capabilities of Pakistani entrepreneurs in sectors such as hospital management, medical technology, diagnostics, and nursing education, and how these could be leveraged to meet Saudi Arabia’s future healthcare demands.

The Ministry of Health officials welcomed the initiative and appreciated the Forum’s proactive role in promoting cross-border investment collaboration. They also expressed a keen interest in further engagement and possible public-private partnerships (PPPs) with Pakistani stakeholders.

This meeting marks an important milestone in the Pakistan Investor Forum’s mission to create institutional bridges between the Pakistani diaspora and key Saudi development projects. With a growing presence of Pakistani professionals and investors in the Kingdom, the Forum continues to play a pivotal role in aligning community potential with Saudi Arabia’s national priorities.
