ISLAMABAD: Pakistan. on the eve of August 5, 2020, released political official map, which shows inclusion of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) in its territory. The federal cabinet chaired by prime minister, Imran Khan, endorsed the new political official map of Pakistan. The new map of Pakistan and its release on the eve of August 5 ‘day of oppression’ is of great significance for Kashmir and Pakistan. Pakistan is up in the arms to show its unflinching support to the Kashmiri brothern who are under Indian curfew for the last one year. India had imposed the worst curfew in the entire valley of Kashmir on August 5, 2019. Kashmiri people have rejected this sign of Indian oppression on the both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and announced protest across the globe to urge the international community to support their just cause of independence. Indian forces have unleashed an unending wave of crime against Kashmiri people since clamping down of the curfew on August 5, 2019. Pakistan is going to observe August 5 as a day of oppression to express its support to Kashmir cause. The people of Pakistan and Kashmiri people living in the whole world will join the protest to support the cause of Kashmir. Pakistan government has already change the name of Kashmir Highway to Sri Nagar Highway to give a strong message to Kashmiri people that Pakistani government and its people were all out to take their just struggle to logical conclusion of getting freedom from Indian occupation.
