Pakistan , Saudi Arabia review progress on energy cooperation, Discuss future strategic projects

Riyadh: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division), Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, co-chaired a high-level Energy Group meeting with senior Saudi officials in Riyadh today to review the progress of ongoing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the significant progress achieved under the existing framework of energy cooperation and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The discussions focused on advancing current collaborative initiatives, identifying new areas of cooperation, and exploring future strategic projects aimed at enhancing energy security, investment, and sustainable development.

 

Both sides acknowledged the positive momentum in bilateral engagement and agreed to maintain close coordination to accelerate the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives. They also expressed confidence that the growing partnership in the energy sector would continue to contribute to the economic prosperity and long-term strategic interests of both countries.
