Pakistan shares grief with India over Air India crash

Islamabad : Pakistan has shared grief with India over tragic crash of Boeing aeroplane which resulted in loss of 315 precious lives.

A UK bound Boeing flight with 242 passengers and crew on board had crashed soon after taking off from an airport of Ahmadabad province of India. India media reported the crash at around 10.30 AM .

President , Asif Ali Zardari , Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , Deputy prime minister , Ishaq Dar , Defence minister , Khawaja Asif , PPP chairman , Bilawal Bhutto , PPP MNA Aseefa Zardari and many other Pakistani top politicians expressed sorrow and grief over tragic air crash in Ahmadabad in India.

Pakistan political leadership in their condolences with Indian government and people said they are shocked over tragic air crash in Ahmadabad in India that claimed 315 lives including 75 doctors who were at the time of crash in their hostel. Boeing flight 171 had taken off from Ahmadabad for UK and its pilot lost contact with the radar after calling May Day, May Day three times

According to Indian media an Air India passenger plane bound for London crashed into a medical college in the northwestern city of Ahmedabad after takeoff, killing at least 240 people in one of India’s worst airline disasters in decades, officials said, with one survivor reported among the passengers.
Vidhi Chaudhary, a top state police officer in Ahmedabad, said medical students who were in a college hostel when Air India Flight 171 hit the building are among the dead. “Most of the bodies have been charred beyond recognition,” she said
