Dubai / Rawalpindi : After defeating Bangladesh in crucial semi final in Dubai Cricket Stadium on Thursday Pakistan is very much alive and back to take India head on in Asia Cup 2025 final on next Sunday .
Bangladesh and Pakistan had a good game in the semi final and supporters of both sides enjoyed the match very much.
Pakistan could make only 135 runs in its inning of 20 overs . Bangladeshi bowlers gave stunning performance with the ball. None of Pakistani batters except Haris could stay on the crease to play a big inning . Pakistan’s opening pair lost wickets early as usual , putting pressure on the upcoming batting line . Bangladeshi bowlers managed to restrict Pakistani side to only 135 runs.
From Pakistan side , Haris played a good game . In the last five overs Shaheen Shah and M Nawaz helped Pakistan take its total to 135 runs. Bangladesh also could not make good starts . Its first wicket fell down when it’s socre was just 1 in the first over. Other Bangladeshi batters also could not give good performance with the bat and they kept on losing wickets regularly. Shamim was the only Bangladeshi players who faced Pakistani bowlers confidently and played good strokes . He got out when his individual score was 30 off 35 balls.
Rashad Hussain played glorious hits in the end . His hard hits kept Bangladesh’s hope to win the match alive till the last over, but required run rate made it impossible for him to secure a win for his country in the semi final.
For Pakistan Haris Raif and Shaheen Shah Afridi had outclass performance with the ball. Shaheen picked up 3 wickets and Haris Raif also bowled out three Bangladeshi players. Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 11 runs . With a good win against Bangladesh in the semi final , Pakistan is again up to take India in final on next Sunday.
