Islamabad : Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) last night.
According to the Prime Minister Office (PMO) , Prime Minister , Shahbaz Sharif , has expressed full solidarity with His Highness Mohamed Bin Zayed and reaffirmed that Pakistan stands firmly with Emirati brothers and sisters as well as with the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at this difficult time.
The prime minister in his message on X said it is absolutely essential that the ceasefire be upheld and respected to allow necessary diplomatic space for dialogue leading to enduring peace and stability in the region.
Iran had fired drones and missiles on energy infrastructure of UAE last night , causing damage to gas and oil facilities of the country besides injuring a few citizens.
Iran’s fresh attacks on UAE have been widely criticized by the world . Germany has also condemned Iran’s new attacks on UAE and demanded of its end without any delay.
Pakistan is struggling to have a decisive round of talks between US and Iran , but in new situation whereby Iran launched new wave of missiles and drones attacks is causing problems for it as any new use of force can make its job of negotiations for end to the Middle East (ME) war more difficult.
