MELBOURNE (Australia): Nov 13,2022: Pakistan faced defeat in T20 world cup 2022 final and lose title to England here on Sunday.
Poor captaincy played a key role in Pakistan’s defeat . From the start of batting captain, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan played T20 WC final like a test match. Slow batting put Pakistan in difficult situation . Captain Babar Azam could score only 28 runs of 25 balls . Mohammad Rizwan tried to push Pakistan ‘s total in initial overs to a good score, but failed to withstand English bowlers’ pressure and got out in a bid to hit a six.
Other Pakistani batters also joined Babar Babar’s bandwagon by either playing at slow pace or throwing their wickets to English bowlers.
Pakistan score of 137 in 20 overs was not a difficult target for England team.Pakistani bowlers did their best effort to keep England batters at bay and they initially got a few wickets of England batter, but less than a defendable score of 131 runs helped England achieve target of 138 runs in 19 overs.
Ben Stokes’ spectacular inning of 51:runs helped win against Pakistan and carry T20 WC 22 trophy .

Pakistan could not make impressive show with bat in T20 world cup 2022. Its batting line failed to take England bowlers head on. Pakistan batters kept losing wickets regularly. None from captain Babar Azam to Shaan Masood could hold nerves to make winning score against England .
Pakistani openers –Mohammad Ruzwan and captain Babar , played below average game in a big match of T 20 world cup. Captain Babar Azam made only 28 runs after playing 24 balls.
Babar Azam played like he was playing a 5-day test match.Mohammad Rizwan tried to accelerate the score, but failed . Shaan Masood and Mohammad Haris remained short of taking courage to face England bowlers.

Wicket ki condition daikhi thi? It was two-paced, with an oddball sticking in the surface. Baad mein when spinners came tu it assisted them heavily. This pitch was not a T20 final pitch. But even then, Pakistan made the most out of this chase. Hats off to them for stellar performance.
