Pakistan’s remittances keep healthy trend , record $ 3.66 billion inflow in August

Islamabad : A Finance ministry statement said on Wednesday that Pakistan ‘s worker remittances keep showing upward trend . It said Pakistan recorded $ 3.66 billion in August 2026 which is 16 5 % up on year to year basis.

The remittances , however , showed alight improvement on month to month basis of 0.7 % .

According to the statement , August ‘s robust growth has taken July -August remittances to $ 7.29 billion.

$3.66bn in August — up 16.5% YoY, taking remittances to $7.29bn in 2MFY27 — up 14.7% YoY, building further on the record $41.6bn in FY26.
As usual , Saudi Arabia topped in remittances sending destination with $ 873 million,. It’s followed by UAE with % 750 million .

The following is the detail of the worker remittances received by Pakistan in August 2026.
August 2026:

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia: $873m
🇦🇪 UAE: $750m
🇬🇧 UK: $564m
🇺🇸 USA: $309m
