LAHORE : March 17,2023. Lahore Qalanders defeated Peshawar Zalmi in a crucial match of PSL- 8 playoff here on Friday.
Peshawar Zalmi had set a target of 172 runs for Lahore Qalanders . Lahore Qalanders achieve the target in the last second over. Tahir Baig’s stunning inning of 54 runs off 42 runs helped his team get the required runs target in the second last over of the match. Rashid Khan’s bowling remained superb as usual. He gave 42 runs in a 4 overs quota and clinched two wickets of Peshawar Zalmi.
With this win on Friday against Peshawar Zalmi , Lahore Qalanders have qualified for final of PSL-8 and it will clash against Multan Sultans in the final of this event scheduled in Lahore for March ,18.
