LAHORE : March 16,2023. Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday stopped Islamabad United from marching onto the next level of PSL8 semi final here by defeating it by 12 runs in a comparatively an easy contest.
Peshawar Zalmi batted first and set a target of ,183 runs off 20 overs for Islamabad United.
This target was not a difficult milestone to
achieve , but the bowling squad of Peshawar Zalmi made it difficult rather impossible for Islamabad United. Sohaib Masood and Hales gave a winning stand to Islamabad United in the first half of 20 over game and at the end of 11th over Islamabad United had made 110 runs and its one wicket was down only.
Peshawar Zalmi team played a very sensible game to defeat Islamabad United in the crucial match.

Babar Azam’s stunning game of 54 runs of 36 balls helped Peshawar Zalmi make a defendable total of 183 runs. Sulman Irshad of Peshawar Zalmi made commendable bowling spells to stop Islamabad United to achieve the target of 184 runs.
After defeating Islamabad United in a pre semi final match , Peshawar Zalmi will face Lahore Qalanders in the semi final match set for Friday .
The winner of Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalanders will face Multan Sultans in the final of PSL 8 schedule for March 18,2023 .
Keeping in mind rainy spell , Pakistan Cricket Board has changed dates of final of PSL 8.
