Islamabad : The government has marginally reduced oil prices for the current fortnight. According to a notification issued by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Saturday , petrol prices have been reduced by Rs 1.86 and its new rates are fixed at Rs 259.10 per litre . High Speed diesel (HSD) prices have been slashed by Rs 3.32 and its new rates are fixed at Rs 262.75 per litre. The new prices will remain effective till September 15, 2024.
The government will review oil prices on September 15 again and make adjustments in its rates based on variation in its global market rates.
