Petroleum products get costlier

ISLAMABAD; The government revised upward petroleum products prices for August. The price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 103.97 (increase of Rs 3.86) per litre , diesel Rs 106.46 (increase of Rs 5) per litre, kerosene oil Rs 65.29 (increase of Rs 5.97) per litre. The opposition strongly condemned the new incŕase in petroleum products prices in their media statements. PML N chief Shahbaz Sharif call the increase a bomb of oil that the government dropped on the people . PPP leaderQamar Zaman Kaira rejected the increase saying it will add to the woes of the people who already under huge financial burden due to wrong government policies.
