PM brings big relief for inflation-hit masses

Petrol, diesel prices reduced , power rates also slashed

ISLAMABAD: In a positive development , prime minister , Imran Khan , has announced a Rs 460 billion relief package for immediate respite for the masses . The prime minister announced relief package for the public in his address to the nation here on Monday. To offset more burden on the people in current biting price hike , the prime minister announced a number of relief measures for Information Technology (IT) besides assuring the investors that their investment in industrial sectors will not be questioned by the authorities . He also announced relief on gain tax for new IT start ups.
The prime minister announced zero rated tax holiday for investment in industrial sector. He announced 100 % tax holiday for IT sector . The prime minister also announced Rs 30 scholarship for unemployed graduates.
The prime minister locked the utility rates for four months .
The prime minister announced reduction of Rs 10 per liter in the prices of petrol and diesel . He also announced reduction in electricity rates by Rs 5 per unit.
The prime minister declared that his government will not review its decision on PECA. He said it will end fake news culture from Pakistan. The prime minister quoted many example where his family was targeted by those journalists who take money to defame political personalities . He maintained that PECA would help the people get rid of black mailer journalists. The prime minister said he visited Russia and China to expand Pakistan’s relationships
with these countries .
