PM unveils relief package , calls Imran Khan as evil

ISLAMABAD ; In his maiden address to the nation on Friday ,prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif, counted the reasons that were behind ouster of the worst ever corrupt government of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) through a legal and constitutional procedure . In the very outset of his speech , the prime minister called former prime minister , Imran Khan , as a man who lies to the nation to get political mileage at the cost of national interest .He said Imran Khan damaged Pakistan’s diplomatic relations and used a fake letter to achieve his end goal of denting Pakistan’s interests diplomatically. The prime minister recalled that this man ,(Imran Khan) kept on lying on US letter despite rejecting his claim by the US and National Security Council (NSC) .He said Imran Khan government destroyed Pakistan’s economy and indebted it in his around four year rule. He said Imran Khan took foreign loans more than any past government of Pakistan but did not work for progress and prosperity of Pakistan . The prime minister said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) left dollar at 115 in 2018, but as a result of worse performance of PTI government today dollar , rupee parity stands at 189. He said the coalition government took a hard decision of raising petroleum product prices to avert looming default . He said Imran government intentionally delayed key decisions like maintenance of power plants and supply of fuel to make them fully functional . He said his government takes power shortage as a daunting task and will use all available resources to generate more power to again end load- shedding from Pakistan. He vowed to renew and implement National Action Plan (NAP) to counter resurging terror menace. He said his government is putting all things together to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. He said the government will use of all resources to put Pakistan back on track for progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He reiterated that his government believes in a framework for having a charter of economy to ensure fast track progress of Pakistan . He offered dialogue to all political parties to finalise the charter of economy to avoid any damage to the national economy in the future. He said the government will cater the need of the pro poor and provide support of Rs 2000 per month to the low income families . He said Pakistan will operate and function under the constitution and not according to the wishes of one man.
