ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Imran Khan, made another reshuffle in his cabinet on Friday.

Its fourth reshuffle in federal cabinet during almost three years tenure of Pakistan Tehreek- e – Insaf (PTI).

The prime minister seems dissatisfied with performance of his cabinet members and reshuffles them to expect some better performance from them at a new position. His this approach has failed to bring some improvement in performance of his cabinet .
.

This time Shaukat Tareen , a banker, has made his entry in federal cabinet as finance minister. He replaced Hammad Azhar who has been given the portfolio of Energy Division.

Hammad Azhar had taken over as finance minister only three weeks ago when Hafeez Shaikh was removed by the prime minister from the post.

Since PTI government is left with only two years duration before the next general elections in the country, all for performance on economic front will depend on Shaukat Tareen now.

Tareen is an experienced hand and has capacity to deliver as finance minister . He could be a better option for Imran Khan to stop downslide of Pakistan’s economy.

The first and formost job of Mr Tareen as Finance minister shiuld be to shoot down rising inflation and take immediate measures to give relief to the people who are facing grinding price-hike.

Fawad Chaudhary’s induction as Information minister again is a wise step of the prime minister. He is smart media handler among available PTI team. He was doing the job of the Information minister in his previous cabinet position .

Other reshuffles of Economic Affair Division and Science and Technology are of least interest to the public at large.
