ISLAMABAD. The newly formed Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has cancelled MDCAT entry test and announced to issue a formal schedule for it on October 2 2020.
A website of PMC shows an official announcement to cancel MDCAT entry test. It also announced cancellation of MDCAT entry test by admitting universities .
The PMC announcement said “The commission will hold MDCAT entry test and a formal schedule in this regard will be announced on October 2, 2020.
PMC has replaced Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) as a regulator for medical education in Pakistan.
PMC has also announced resumption of its work like receiving applications for registration and other urgent works to avoid wastage of precious time of the students and doctors .
The federal ministry of National Health (NHS) had sealed the office of PMDC on September 23,2020 till getting functional of PMC.
