Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) has proposed a national dialogue for economic stability in Pakistan and demanded restoration of local bodies in the country.
PML chief organiser, Dr Amjad , central secretary Information , Ghulam Mustafa Malik, made these key assertions at a press conference here on Monday.
On arrival at PML House Lahore, the party workers gave warm welcome to newly appointed Chief Organiser, Dr Amjad.
Dr Amjad and other party central leaders were showered rose petals at PML House in Lahore. Dr Amjad thanked PML chief Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain , for trusting in him as chief organiser of the party .
He said PML ‘s leadership Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and his sons –Ch Salik Hussain and Ch Shafay Hussain– are taking forward the party manifesto of serving Pakistan and its people .
He demanded of the government that it should pass on the benefits of economic progress to the masses.
He argued that due to vibrant role of the army chief , Syed Asim Munir, foreign investment from the friendly countries has started to pour in in the country .
Dr Amjad said the country can not afford the politics of “Dharnas” and protests and its high time that all political parties should agree to the proposed national dialogue for economic stability of Pakistan.
PML leader noted that Ch Shafay Hussain is working hard for revival of sick units of Punjab and Ch Salik Hussain is serving Pakistanis as federal minister .
He said Ch Salik Hussain organized corruption- free Hajj in 2024. He also get passed a law , which safeguards properties of Overseas Pakistanis.
Ghulam Mustafa Malik said PML promotes the culture of patriotism and taking the same message forward it’s starting party organisation across Pakistan.
On this occasion , PML Lahore president Mian Abdul Waheed, appreciated services of Dr Amjad for the party. PML Youth president ,Kamran Usmani , General Secretary , Khizar Butt, Ulema Mishiakh Wing president, Syed Malam Hussain Gillani , Women Wing president , Aziza Saeed, congratulated Dr Amjad on his appointment as Chief Organiser of the party.
