PN holds free medical camp at Gharo

THATHA: A team of doctors of Pakistan Navy (PN) held a free medical camp at Rural Health Centre Gharo. The doctors team which examined the patients consist of senior surgeons, medical specialists male and female doctors. The team of doctors examined the patient for a full day here at the free medical camp.
Dr Nazam Khaskhali said it was for the first time that PN medical team has organized a free medical camp in Gharo. He said a large number of the people of Gharo benefited from the PN medical camp. He said the PN team had facility for minor surgeries and in the case of any major surgery the case will be referred to Agha Khan Hospital Karachi where PN will supervise such patients. He said the people lives are of utmost importance for Pakistan Navy.
Talking to media, secretary general para- medical staff district Thatha, Sarfraz Soomro appreciated the role of PN in providing medical facilities to the people of Gharo and hoped it will continue to provide these facilities in the future. He complained for shortage of doctors and nurses in the public sector hospital of Thatha district.
