PPP Saudi Arabia marks foundation day with dignified ceremony

Jeddah — The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Saudi Arabia organized a graceful and well-attended event to mark the party’s Foundation Day, drawing prominent political and social figures along with a large number of community members.

The ceremony was presided over by PPP Saudi Arabia President Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain, while former advisor Sardar Inayatullah Arif graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sardar Shehak Haider Tur attended as the special honorary guest, and Aftab Ahmed Turabi served as the stage secretary.

In his address, Chaudhry Tasawar Hussain said that the Foundation Day commemorates the mission of the party’s martyrs and renews the commitment to public service. He urged party workers to continue their struggle for democracy and the protection of the people’s rights.

Chief guest Sardar Inayatullah Arif highlighted that the PPP has always represented the voice of the people, adding that the strong participation of overseas Pakistanis reflects that the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto remains alive. He further noted that the current government in Azad Kashmir is clear evidence of the party’s widespread public support.

Speeches were also delivered by Sardar Ashfaq (Muslim Conference Saudi Arabia), John Gulzar (Christian Community Jeddah), Malik Saeed Zanan (ANP), Malik Shabbir Awan, and Sardar Mehtab Sarwar (PPP Azad Kashmir). The speakers paid tribute to the party’s democratic struggle, the sacrifices of its martyrs, and the national services of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

Distinguished participants included Idrees Qureshi, Sardar Waqas Inayat, Malik Javed Hussain Awan, Chaudhry Dilpazeer, among others.

The event concluded with the cutting of a Foundation Day cake and prayers for the martyrs of the PPP as well as the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
