Riyadh (Saudi Arabia ) : As part of its ongoing preparations to welcome worshippers to the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on Friday, the Presidency for Religious Affairs has called upon all worshippers, visitors, and Umrah pilgrims to observe proper etiquette and to remain mindful of the sanctity of both time and place. The Presidency emphasized the importance of avoiding crowding and pushing, whether in the Mataf (area around the Kaaba), the Mas’a (Sa’i area), or near the gates, corridors, and courtyards.
The Presidency further stressed the need to cooperate with security personnel and crowd management officials, ensuring safety and working in solidarity with all concerned authorities dedicated to providing comfort for the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.
Throughout the week, the Presidency works to create a rich spiritual environment enhanced by enriching programs and unique initiatives, which are further intensified on Fridays and Friday nights. These programs are delivered in multiple global languages, translated from Arabic, and include Friday sermons, scholarly lessons, Qur’an study circles, interactive screens, and direct responses to visitors’ inquiries. Such initiatives aim to allow worshippers to focus entirely on their acts of worship and the performance of their religious rites.
