Islamabad : April 4 ,2024: The Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) on Thursday announced to hold countrywide public gatherings and rallies starting from April 12 ,2024 to press the government for accepting its demand of return of its stolen mandate given in October 8,2024 general elections. PTI top leadership including Gohar Ali Khan , Asad Qaiser , Farman Ali Khan and Shibly Faraz announced the programme of the party for holding public gatherings across Pakistan to build up public pressure on the government to accept its demand and return its stolen mandate of October 8,2024 elections. PTI is convinced that it swept the last general elections in Pakistan ,but its mandate was stolen to keep it out of the power. Since then PTI is demanding to rerun its mandate. ECP rejects PTI claims on mandate . PTI is hinting at holding public rallies to build up public pressure and force ECP to accept its demand of return of what its claims stolen mandate. Giving details of PTI protest plan in a media talk, PTI leaders reiterated their demand of return of stolen mandate . Shibli Faraz said how Pakistan can move forward if the public mandate given to PTI is not honoured. Asad Qaiser said PTI is starting public protest to get back its stolen mandate. Later , Gohar Ali Khan told a host of a private TV channel that PTI will join hands with other dissidents like Jamiat e Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI-F) and Jamaat e Islami (JI) to force the government to accept PTI mandate of October 8 elections. He , however , denied that PTI has decided to organise sit in after Eidul Fitr. He said PTI did not take any such decision to bold sit in , in the country after Eidul Fitr.
