PTI heads for split; Imran Khan leaves masses in agony, turns nightmare for fellow partymen

Imran khan disappoints youth of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD. When Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e – Insaf (PTI) came into power in 2018 , majority in Pakistan had strong believe that the new government of PTI was for a turnaround in key areas like corruption-ripped national economy, rotton system of governance and likewise in other important areas where Pakistan was lagging behind among global communities .

The youth of this country had dreams in its shinning eyes who stood fast in difficult times for PTI, seeing it as a saviour.

Many in this country can recall PTI standup in Karachi against Muttiheda Quami Movement (MQM) for a fair election in a constituency wayback in 2017 when youth supportive of PTI stood on feet for two days to force the authorities concerned to bow down to its demand. It was a time when one could hardly think of such a show of people against MQM in Karachi where latter was a symbol of terror.

One can quote many other similiar events in recent history of Pakistan that made the youth to believe that PTI was a real change- maker in Pakistan.

The same youth propelled PTI to swing to power by supporting and votting for it in 2018 general elections.

PTI too made unprecedented show of power by organising mamoth rallies across Pakistan ahead of 2018 elections.

The 2018 elections did brought PTI into power . Now its supporter, in particular, youth was breathlessly waiting that its party and beloved leader, Imran Khan and his team, will start delivering and this will end up at a change in Pakistan . They were dreaming of a Pakistan where corruption will be non-existant, poor will have say in the system, the people particularly , downtrodden, will get easy and cheaper justice, mafias of medicines, sugar, atta and other commodities will be a story of the past and there will be only rule of merit in the country to help them.make their future brighter and lead Pakistan to a honourable status among global communities.

Alas this all remained a dream only. Imran Khan instead taking task of national revamp preferred to use his all energies and state resources to prove that the past rulers (PPP and PMLN) were devils and he would go to any extent to fix them up. The nation for quite sometime trusted in Imran Khan ‘s rhetoric and believed he was going to get back ill- gotton money from the past rulers ( Nawaz and Zardari), but slowly and gradually they reached to the conclusion that Imran Khan is a hollow man and he lacks that qulality and capacity which was needed to fix up monstrous plunderers like Nawaz and Zardari and his entire narrative against corruption was a mere political stunt.
Imran Khan and PTI instead taking wise decisions for making the people lives better started to take those decisions which suited the International Monetary Fund (IMF) . It withdrew subsidies aimed at giving relief to pro poor. It left the rupee for a free fall against US dollar that opened up an unending flood of killing price hike in the country.

Imran Khan’s economic wizard , Asad Umar, might have set an opportunity for new assingnment in IMF by accepting its demand of introducing a free rupee – US dollar parity system in Pakistan as a Finance minister, but it turned into a deadly move for already frail economy of Pakistan, besides breaking down the entire trade and industrial system that exposed the people of this unfortunate country to killing price hike in days to come.
This one decision of free fall of the rupee made everything right from edibles to households and from construction related material to the cars everything 30 to 40 percent costlier for the people of Pakistan.

Not only this, withdrawal of subsidy on utilities hit the poor hard and left them in total disbelieve as what the PTI had come into power for?

Meanwhile, rising mafias
like sugar mafia, medicine mafia, atta mafia you name any mafia it was there to fleece the public at large. There was no one in the government to think as to what the PTI has done for the public in its first three years rule.

Imran Khan’s incompetence and rigidity, a key factor to his revengeful character, made a group of PTI electables distance from him. This group, headed by Jahangir Tareen, seems worried about its future politics. This group, according to NEWSMAN sources, is weighing different options inclusive of jioning hands with PMLN to topple IK rule in the country. This dissident group has actually distrusted in political leadership of Imran Khan. It (dissidentent group ) has two options in hands. Either to form its faction within the party ( This option is more likely) or join hands with other party to dethrown Imran Khan.

Whatever comes in to play in national politics in coming days, one thing is as evident as written on the wall that Imran Khan and PTI in his leadership has bleak political future in this country. The factor of price hike can hurt him and his party more than anything in next elections.
