PTI Political Committee Discusses Protest Fallout and Legal Action

ISLAMABAD,  November 28,2024: The political committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) convened a meeting in Islamabad to discuss the aftermath of the party’s recent protest.

The committee deliberated on the situation following reports of alleged casualties during the demonstrations and considered potential legal steps in response to the incidents.

In the wake of the protest violence, PTI is expected to announce a “Black Day” to highlight the alleged injustices. A formal line of action is anticipated to be revealed soon.

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated that PTI would continue its sit-in protests across the country, despite the ongoing crackdown on party workers in Islamabad.

Speaking at a press conference in Mansehra, Gandapur defended PTI’s right to peaceful protests, asserting that the party has always upheld the rule of law and democracy.

He condemned the violence against PTI workers, claiming that their peaceful demonstration was met with gunfire. Gandapur also reiterated that the sit-ins would persist until the party’s demands were met.
