PTI rule turns nightmare for Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Since 2018 when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of cricketer- turned politician, Imran Khan, came into power it intentionally or unintentionlly damaged Pakistan in many ways.

It unleashed an unending era of pricehike that pulled a vast majority of the middle class of the society down to either lower class or simply pushed it down to the poverty line.
The PTI devasted many strategic institutions/ assets of Pakistan like Pakistan International Airline (PIA) , Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) , Pakistan’s cricket and many more.
Today, the people of Pakistan are in shock. They do not understand as to why PTI government was governing this country already damaged due to unprecedented corruption of the last two governments (PPP from 2008-2013) and PMLN (2013-2018) so wrecklessly.

PIA tales of woes speaks of actual style of bad governance of IK rule. Its one fake degree holder minister destroyed once Pakistan’s pride ” national flag carrier” just for fun.

No one in this country has reached to the conclusion even after many months as to why Ghulam Sarwar Khan of Texila brought PIA issue of fake licenses into the public.?

The people of this country are yet to know as if Khan of Texila acted on his own to drag the national carrier into a bitter controversy without having the idea what could be its implications for PIA and the workers associated with the national airline for having bread and butter for their families or he was advised by IK to go for that wreckless statement in parliament ?

Who so ever asked this fake degree holder minister to go after PIA, his rogue statement has razed the national flag carrier to ground, causing loss of Rs 50 billion in just three to four months and eroding credibility of PIA once for all.

Can a country having minimum sovereignity even think that any nation can hold back its aeroplane with 167 passengers onboard for money?

This sad incident happended with PIA at a Malaysian airport 24 hours ago. Unfortunate and humiliatimg.

PSM too met the same fate. IK’s economic wizard ..Asad Umar…can be seen having a Sindhi cap on his head and Ajrak on shoulders giving granttee to PSM workers in a video clip that PTI if comes in power it will make PSM operational as it was a great national asset. In this case, PTI rather than taking sensible decision and make this national strategic asset operational and turn it into a profit-making entity deatroyed it as a whole. Its over 9 thousand workers have been forced to go workless . Today PSM stands ruined completely.

Who benefited from ruining of PSM? Will the nation find the real beneficiary of PSM destruction?.

Now come to Pakistan’s cricket. Today when IK, a legend of cricket, is on the helm of affairs, Pakistan’s cricket is in shambles. Just one decision of this crickter-turned politician of deleting departmental cricket has destroyed Pakistan most popular game.

Did IK benefitted from deleting departmental cricket? The answer in clear terms may be big NO as IK has credibility of non- lover of material gains, but his unwise decision did left roughly 4 thousand young crickters in total disarray as departments which were providing jobs to these youngesters threw them out of jobs. Today young crickers of Pakistan have no window for jobs.

Finishing of departmental cricket in Pakistan will have far reaching impact on national cricket.

When IK directed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to delete departmental cricket in Pakistan some one and half years ago, his many decades old friends and real cricket heros like Javed Miandad, Waseem Akram and many others had pleaded him not to do so, but he remained unconvinced.

Many great crickters of Pakistan and fans of cricket believe shutting down of departmental cricket had made the crickters mentally sick and for the same reason Pakistan’s cricket team inflicted humilating defeat in recently concluded New zealand tour .

The list of terrible failures of IK rule is fairly long and each failure is causing irriparable loss to Pakistan and its people, but one thing which surpasses all other failures is pricehike.

The IK rule has literally broken backbone of a vast segment of the society.

Name anything from atta, sugar , lentils , vegetables, clothes, gold, house rent, medicines, health care fee, schools fee everything has gone minimum 50 percent costlier in two and half years of PTI government .

This has literally made lives of the people miserable. What happened unusal in Pakistan in the last two and half years that added so much to pricehike.

Many may not have the answer to this killer pricehike, but those who understand the financial trajectory do know the decision of IK’s economic wizard…Asad Umar…of leaving Pak rupee for a free fall to appease IMF bosses destroyed Pakistan’s economy.

The fall of Pak rupee vis- a -vis US dollar devastated Pakistan financially , besides opening -up of a floodgate of pricehike in Pakistan to damage buying power of millions of low and middle class Pakistanis beyond repair.

Today millions of Pakistani are jobless and have nothing to feed their hunger- hit families.
One also needs to see what happened to PMDC, a regulater which was regulating medical sector effectively.

A close relative of PM managed to get dissolved PMDC through hasty law making in parliament during law making on FATF restrictions to put in place his idea of injectimg Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) to give undue favour to private medical colleges . Why he (the close relative of PM) did all this ? What was his agenda for providing benefits like 100 % increase in fee for MBBS and BDS courses and granting power to private medical colleges to conduct interviews of selected students with 20 marks to decide fate of any candidate for admission?

Its not difficult to understand the agenda behind replacing PMDC with PMC. But this agenda is going to cost Pakistan and Pakistanis dearly as it’s going to destroy Pakistan’s standard of medical education.

These episodes reflect the qulaity of IK governance in Pakistan.
Today a common Pakistani is in total wilderness when he/she thinks of Pakistan’s future and lives of his/ her dear ones.
