PTI suffers humiliating defeat in by-elections

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) has suffered humiliating defeat in by -elections.
It lost in all constituencies in KPK and Punjab provinces.
In NA 75 Daska- Sialkot by -elections, Pakistan Muslm League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Nausheen Iftikhar Shah defeated Ali Asjad Malhi of the ruling party…PTI by a big margin. PMLN candidate secured 158791 votes whereas Ali Asjad Malhi of PTI bagged 142311 votes.
On a Punjab assembly seat. PP 51 Wazirabad , Begum Talat Shaukat of PMLN won by getting 53903 votes. She defeated Ch Yousaf of PTI who got 48484 votes.
Ikhtiar wali of PML N won in Nowshehra KPK assembly KP 63 also. Ikhtiar Wali got 21122 votes. His opponent, Omar Akmal of PTI, could secure 17023 votes
Till filing of the story at 13.20 hour today , PTI was only leading in Kurrum NA 45.
The outcome of by-elections depicts a horrifying picture for prime minister, Imran Khan , and his party . It stamped defeat for Imran Khan. It also indicates the people of Pakistan are fed up with PTI policies. They are not ready to accept price hike any more. This defeat in by elections will add to problems of Imran Khan and PTI in near future. At the same time it can work as a catalyst for opposition to muster public support to force him to throw out of power.
