Recovery of looted money ! Ex investigator offers services to NAB

Pakistan stands at an important juncture where strengthening institutional accountability, protecting public resources, and recovering national wealth must remain among our highest priorities. In this context, I respectfully wish to place my professional experience and services at the disposal of the Chairman, National Accountability Bureau.

During my tenure at NAB, I had the opportunity to work in the field of mega scandals and recovery. This experience provided me with practical exposure to complex financial investigations, asset tracing, recovery mechanisms, and matters involving resources transferred or concealed beyond Pakistan’s borders.

I firmly believe that the recovery of Pakistan’s misappropriated and unlawfully acquired national wealth—whether held domestically or abroad—is not an impossible task. With the right institutional strategy, legal framework, international cooperation, professional expertise, and sustained political and administrative commitment, substantial recoveries can be achieved.

My offer is therefore straightforward: I am prepared to place my experience and professional services at the disposal of the Chairman NAB, and to contribute to a dedicated recovery mechanism focused on identifying, tracing, pursuing, and recovering Pakistan’s assets through lawful and internationally recognized procedures.

The leadership of any institution is only as effective as the team supporting it. The armed forces provide a powerful illustration of this principle. A strong commander operates through a capable and disciplined team of senior officers, commanders, specialists, and professionals. It is the collective strength, expertise, discipline, and coordination of that team that enables an institution to confront complex challenges and achieve strategic objectives.

The same principle applies to accountability.

The Chairman NAB brings with him a distinguished career of discipline, leadership, and service. However, accountability, financial crime investigation, asset recovery, international cooperation, and complex legal proceedings require specialized institutional expertise. The Chairman therefore deserves a strong, technically competent, professionally experienced, and results-oriented team capable of translating leadership into measurable outcomes.

Pakistan’s growing strategic cooperation with countries such as Türkiye and Saudi Arabia also demonstrates the importance of partnerships and collective strength. Nations, institutions, and organizations achieve difficult objectives when capable people work together with a clear strategy and a shared national purpose.

Likewise, NAB requires a team that can combine legal expertise, financial intelligence, forensic investigation, asset tracing, international recovery mechanisms, and institutional coordination. Such a team can significantly strengthen the Bureau’s ability to pursue complex cases and recover assets in accordance with due process and the rule of law.

I therefore respectfully offer my services to the Chairman NAB.

I have experience in NAB’s recovery domain and in dealing with mega scandals. I understand the challenges associated with tracing and recovering national assets, and I am prepared to contribute that experience once again in the service of Pakistan.

There is no need to be discouraged by legal or procedural complexities. Every matter can be pursued through the appropriate constitutional and legal forums, subject to jurisdiction, evidence, due process, and the applicable law. What is required is not confrontation, but professionalism, strategy, persistence, institutional coordination, and a competent team.

My objective is not to target any individual, political party, institution, or group. My objective is simply to contribute to the protection of Pakistan’s national wealth and the rights of its people.

Accountability conducted fairly, transparently, and strictly in accordance with law is not merely an institutional obligation. It is a service to the nation.

I remain ready to serve wherever my experience can add value.

I respectfully place my professional services and experience at the disposal of the Chairman NAB. If entrusted with an appropriate responsibility within a competent recovery team, I am confident that I can make a meaningful contribution toward the lawful recovery of Pakistan’s assets and the strengthening of the national accountability framework.

Ultimately, the success of any institution is built not only on its leadership, but on the quality, integrity, competence, and unity of the team behind that leadership.

Pakistan needs strong institutions, capable teams, and a clear national commitment to recover what belongs to the people of Pakistan.

May Allah guide us toward decisions that serve the national interest and enable us to serve Pakistan with integrity, justice, and sincerity.

Pakistan First. Public Interest Above All.
