Saudi Crown Prince Hosts Medical Team for Global 1st Robotic Heart Transplant

Crown Prince commended their achievement and expressed pride in the pioneering capabilities of Saudi talent.

Riyadh (Newsman): Saudi Crown Prince holds a meeting with the medical team behind world’s first robotic heart transplant. The Crown Prince praised Saudi talent for their innovative abilities and exceptional skills.

The medical team that performed the world’s first fully robotic heart transplant met with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at his office.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince congratulated the Saudi doctors on their success in heart transplant surgery using robotic technology.

He commended their achievement and expressed pride in the pioneering capabilities of Saudi talent.

The medical team was welcomed by the Crown Prince in his office following the successful robotic heart transplant conducted at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh.

In this engagement, there were also Mazen Al-Rumaih, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and also came Executive Vice President Dr. Björn Zieger and Executive Director Dr. Majid Al-Fayyad.

In the discussion, the Crown Prince acknowledged this gigantic fiat of the medical team and appreciated their devotion and worldy accomplishments, reinforcing the Kingdom’s backing for its skilled professionals.

The representative of the medical team articulated their pleasure in meeting the Crown Prince and thanked him for his ongoing support. Professor surgeon Dr Firas Khalil, a Saudi, who heads the medical team, declared this session a motivation to more serve the nation and contribute to the field.
