Riyadh – A delegation from the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) held a bilateral meeting with the Pakistan Regional Economic Forum (PREF) to discuss potential investment opportunities in Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
The Saudi delegation included representatives from NADEC, Lean AlKhair, and AlRashid Holding. The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Shagufta Zareen, Minister for Trade and Investment at the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, along with Mr. Mshari Alhudaib from the Saudi Ministry of Investment.
During the session, both sides engaged in detailed technical discussions focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring viable avenues for Saudi investment in Pakistan’s agriculture and agri-business sectors.
The Pakistan Regional Economic Forum was represented by Mr. Haroon Sharif, Chairman of PREF and former Minister for Investment of Pakistan; Mr. Khalid Mansoor, former Minister for CPEC and Senior Fellow; and Vice Admiral (R) Hasham Khan, former Vice Chief of Naval Staff and former Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting reflects growing economic collaboration between the two brotherly nations and highlights agriculture as a key sector for strategic partnership and sustainable investment.
