PESHAWAR – Demonstrating a strong commitment to transparency, accessibility, and responsive governance, the Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) Peshawar, Dr. Farhat Amin, has launched a series of reform driven initiatives, including an E-Public Facilitation Session, aimed at strengthening communication between the university administration, students, parents, and the general public.The initiative received widespread appreciation from students, parents, University employees, and members of the public, as it established a direct and accessible channel of communication with the university’s top leadership.During the interactive session, Dr. Farhat Amin personally attended telephone calls from students and members of the public, listening carefully to their concerns, suggestions, and complaints.Senior University officials and heads of academic and administrative departments also participated to ensure immediate coordination and prompt resolution of issues.Whenever a concern was raised, the Vice Chancellor directed the relevant department to address the matter without delay, reaffirming the University’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Farhat Amin said that bridging the communication gap between the university administration and the public is essential for improving institutional performance and delivering quality services.She emphasized that meaningful engagement with stakeholders is a key element of good governance.The Vice Chancellor announced that quarterly E-Public Facilitation Sessions would now be held across all university departments, providing students, employees, and the public with regular opportunities to directly engage with the administration and have their concerns addressed efficiently.
She further reaffirmed her commitment to creating a peaceful, inclusive, and student friendly academic environment, stating that the university administration would continue making every possible effort to provide quality facilities and a conducive atmosphere for both students and employees.The launch of this innovative E-Public Facilitation Initiative is being regarded as one of the hallmark reforms introduced under Dr. Farhat Amin’s leadership, reflecting her vision of transparent, people centric, and accountable university governance.
