ISlAMABAD; As senate elections 2021 move into next phase, the political parties have granted tickets to their nominees to contest the upcoming elections.
The ruling Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) approved tickets for a few old faces like Shibli Faraz, Sania Nishtar, Faisal Wavda , Mohsin Aziz, Barrister Ali Zafar and Shaikh Hafeez, but it did acknowleged services of some of its dedicated workers like Fauzia Arshad and Saifullah Khan Niazi.
Saifullah Niazi is a tireless and dedicated worker of the party and he worked for PTI for more than two decades without urging for any position . His nomination will encourage the party workers to work for party with more dedication.
The Pakiatan Muslim League PML(N) retained the most of the heavy weights like Pervez Rashid, Mushahidullah Khan, Sajid Mir , Azam Nazir Tarar and Barrister , Saadia Abbasi. PML N parliamentry board approved candidature of its candidates on Friday.
Pakistan People Party (PPP) granted tickets to most of its known faces. These included Farooq H Naik, Jam Mehtab Dahr, Kareem Khawaja, Shahadat Awan, Shairi Rehman, Saleem Mandiwala, Taj Haider, Palwasha Khan and Khair- un -Nisa Mughal.
JUI F also nominated Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Khalil Baleedi for senate elections.
The elections 2021 is scheduled for March 3, 2021.
