KARACHI, December 2, 2024 – Internet users in various cities across Pakistan, especially in Karachi, are facing significant connectivity issues, leading to difficulties in browsing, as well as downloading and sharing media.
Reports indicate that both WiFi and mobile data services are experiencing severe slowdowns, making it nearly impossible for users to send or receive media files, including images, videos, and voice notes, on popular messaging platforms such as WhatsApp.

Downdetector.com confirmed these issues, showing a sharp increase in WhatsApp outages around 9 a.m. today, marking the second consecutive day of disruptions.
Areas in Karachi most affected include Saddar, Liaquatabad, FB Area, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where users have complained about extended delays in transmitting media.
In addition to these issues, residents in various neighbourhoods have reported consistently slow internet speeds and intermittent connectivity, causing growing frustration among users.
