ISLAMABAD : Prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif, has appointed senior Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader and senator , Shahadat Awan , as state minister.
The president approved the appointed of Shahadat Awan as state minister on Thursday. Shahadat Awan has been given portfolio of the Law ministry .
Shahadat Awan comes from a notable family of Khushab district . His appointment as state minister will send a good message to the people of Khushab.
