ISLAMABAD . August 22, 2022. A judicial magistrate of Islamabad , Malik Aman, on Monday extended physical remand of Imran Khan’s chief security officer (cso), , Shahbaz Gill .
Shahbaz Gill was produced before the judicial magistrate on expiry of his previous physical remand.
The court had granted a 2-two day physical remand of Shahbaz Gill on August 19 and asked the Islamabad police to produce the accused before the court on August 22, 2022.
As per the court orders, the Islamabad police produced the accused before the court and pleaded for extension in his physical remand. The Islamabad police pleaded before the judicial magistrate that the accused was hospitalized for some ailment and was not available to it for investigations.
The lawyers team for Shahbaz GILL comprising Chaudhary Faisal advocate and Babar Awan advocate strongly opposed extension in Shahvaz Gill’s physical remand. The counsels for Shahabaz Gill argued before the court that the accused was investigated by the police during his treatment at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and therefore there was no reason in extending his physical remand.
The judicial magistrate after hearing the both parties , extended physical remand of Shahbaz Gill for two days and handed him to the Islamabad police .
Shahbaz Gill’s another drama in court room
Shahbaz Gill rose to the rostrum in the court room to narrate his tale during his arrest. He addressed to the court and claimed that the kind of torture he was facing during arrest was even beyond your ( The magistrate 0 . He questioned if you (The magistrate ) wanted to see him alive again or not.
Shahbaz Gill’s behavior is highly mysterious during his arrest. He is continuously alleging that he was being put to the worst kind of torture during his custody . He tried to play the same drama on Monday in the court room to defraud the judicial magistrate. Shahbaz Gill also posed as if he was denied of basic facilities like bath, clothes etc during his detention. He announced that his any statement during the policy custody will not his statement.
The judicial magistrate, however, remained unmoved by fine quality drama of Shahbaz Gill and handover him to the Islamabad for 2-day physical remand. He will be produced before the court on expiry of 2-day physical remand.
