Shahbaz Sharif Chairs Meeting on Advancements with KSA

Islamabad (Newsman): Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Saudi Arabia is a long-time friend of Pakistan who has supported Pakistan in every difficult time. The country is willing to expand its cooperation with Saudi Arabia further.

According to a statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, there is progress in cooperation and investment in various fields between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

A review meeting was held.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress of various ongoing projects between the two countries.

The Prime Minister said that Saudi Arabia is a long-time friend of Pakistan who has supported Pakistan in every difficult time.

The Prime Minister said that cooperation with Saudi Arabia is ongoing in many fields, and Pakistan is keen to expand cooperation with its brother country Saudi Arabia.

The PM Shahbaz Sharif was briefed on the progress of cooperation in various fields between the two countries in the second meeting of the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Joint Task Force held in November.

According to that meeting, 34 investment memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries in a short period of time. Seven out of seven contracts worth $560 million have been awarded.

Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Petroleum Minister Dr. Mossadegh Masood Malik, Special Investment Facilitation Council National Coordinator Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Ahmed, and senior government officials participated in the meeting.
