Shaheen Shah Reclaims No. 1 Spot, Haris Jumps 14 Places in ICC ODI Bowler Rankings

Dubai, (Newsman): Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has risen to the top spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Bowler Rankings following a standout performance in the recent three-match series against Australia.

Afridi’s remarkable effort saw him claim eight wickets across the series at an impressive average of 12.62, propelling him to No. 1 in the rankings, now nine points clear of second-placed Rashid Khan.

Afridi, 24, had previously held the No. 1 ranking midway through the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India and has now regained the position with a dominant display against Australia. This marks a significant boost for Pakistan cricket as they prepare for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

In addition to Afridi’s success, Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam has retained his position as the No. 1 ranked ODI batsman.
