Shameful: JI chief slams treasury benches for rukus in NA

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat Islami chief Senator , Sirajul Haq, on Tuesday strongly condemned the ruling party for bringing a culture of abuses and physical brawl in the national assembly and demanded of the masses to recognise real faces of their elected representatives.

Addreasing the launch of a book ” Qisa nisaf sadi ka ” authored by Kashmiri leader Maulana Ghulam Nabi Nausheri, here at a local hotel.

Sirajul Haq said those who used abusive language at the floor of the parliament actually tarnished image of Pakistan and its people. He added that scenes of brawl in the national assembly indicate low level approach of the ruling party members and their behaviour should be condemned at every level.

Sirajul Haq said those who staged drama of bad culture in the national assembly can not be true representatives of Pakistani nation.

JI chief vehemently criticised the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) policy on Kashmir and claimed that the government has cut a deal with India on Kashmir. He declared that entire Pakistani nation was with Kashmiri brothern and they were committed to extend every possible support for Kashmir struggle.

Sirajul Haq appreciated work of the launched book and labelled it as a golden chapter of the Kashmir freedom struggle
