Thatha (Sindh), Sindhi nationalist has formed a new organisation ‘ Awami Porhiat Tehreek’ to struggle for their democratic and fundamental rights and put an end to deprivation of the people of Sindh. The newly formed ‘Awami Porhiat Tehreek’ will carry forward the message and ideology of late nationalist Sindhi leaders..Rasool Bux Palejo and Fazil Rahu. The new Awami Porhiat Tehreek’s first central conference was held in Qasimabad, Hyderabad. It elected central organising committee comprising G N Khoso , Zahid Babar, Dr Marvi Palejo, Ghulam Rasool Malah, Advocate Fatima Palpoto, Ali Ayaz Janib Abbasi. The members included Shabana Khaskhali, Dur e Shahwar Wasan , advocate Meer Khoso, Somro Chandio, Mazhar Chandio, Nisar Kolachi and Ahmed Baluch. The Awami Porhiat Teheek will struggle for deprived segment of the Sindhi people besides fighting for the rights of women to ensure their participation at par with men for all walks of life. The newly elected office bearers and members of the Tehreek vowed to fight for the people of Sindh.
