“Stop instigating party workers to attack military installations or face there n then reactions”: ISPR tells PTI leadership

RAWALPINDI: May 10,2023: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has issued the strongest worded warning to supporters of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) who are involved in organised attacks on the military installations in the last two days and cautioned to such political workers of this party to stop indulging in anti state activities or get ready to face immediate and spontaneous reaction to any such activity in the future.

In a rare handout issued here on Wednesday, lSPR said PTI chairman , Imran Khan, was taken into custody from Islamabad High Court (IHC) as per the law of the land, but soon after this arrest organised attacks were launched on the military installations and anti military slogans were chanted to instigate the party workers to attack on the military installations . The handout added that on one hand PTI has launched a nefarious campaign against the army and on the other hand its leadership is showing hypocritical attitude by praising the military .

ISPR maintained that in greed for power PTI has done that anti Pakistan activity that Pakistan’s enemy could not do to damage it in the last 75 years.

It said the military showed unparallel restraints and did not respond to these anti Pakistan and anti military activity and foiled a well planned conspiracy to damage the army and Pakistan.

The military spokesman ‘s office added that the military exactly knew that the attacks on the military installations were made on the instructions of certain political leaders of PTI .

ISPR noted that all the planners , facilitators and those who are involved in anti Pakistan activity in the last two days have been identified and they will be taken to the task.

ISPR added that those who have been doing anti military and anti Pakistan activities will face the consequences.

It said the military and other law enforcing agencies will respond to give spontaneous reaction to any attack on the military or other sensitive installations in the future and its responsibility will rest on those PTI leaders who are involved in instigating the party workers to carry out activities against Pakistan’s state institutions and damage the country.

ISPR concluded that no one will be allowed to instigate the masses for lust of power and attack on the military installations.
